CBAM(SKDM) Border Carbon Adjustment Mechanism aims to implement policies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions fairly at a global level.
SKDM applies a transition period between 1 October 2023 and 31 December 2025. Iron-Steel, Aluminum, Cement, Fertilizer, Electricity and Hydrogen sectors, which have the highest emission intensity, have been determined as priority sectors.
